This Ceramic Reef vase is handmade and individual in appearance. It is insprired by the coral reefs that form around man-made items.This piece was coated with a variety of earthenware and reactive stoneware ceramic glazes to offer strength as well as various metal oxides including copper, cobalt and iron. There is also sea glass from the Cornish coastline melted into the glaze as well as a small chip of quartz, shown in some upclose photos.
The vase measures approximately 16cmx11cm
