Handmade Ceramics by Moss And Mud

Hello, I'm Hannah - the self taught ceramicist behind Moss And Mud Studio! I'm located in Northamptonshire, UK, where I design, glaze, fire and package everything in my small ceramic studio.

My passion for all things nature related and sustainable means that most of my work is inspired by natural forms; such as corals, leaves and animals. I will often create my pieces to be as tactile as possible and include tiny details that you would only be able to see up close.

I wanted to ensure my work is safe as a lot of ceramic raw materials can be hazardous. All of my work is non-toxic (*please check descriptions for any exclusions) and is safe for handling. All functional pieces are finished with non toxic, food safe glazes.

I wanted my work to be different from anything else on the market, but also accessible to the average person.

Sustainability
I'm very conscious about the environmental impacts that result from making, firing and shipping my ceramic art. All scrap clay and water is recycled and when packaging orders, I try to only use biodegradeable products or reuse materials I already have in the studio. This can mean some of my packaging isn't exciting and colourful but the product will be!
